Multicultural Food Fiesta

Come along for a multicultural morning tea at Ryde Family Support Service.

This is an opportunity to share food from your culture and talk about the meaning that this food has for you. Bring along a special dish from your cultural background to eat together with others in the local community.

Ryde River Walk

  • All invited, children welcome
  • Walk from Kissing Point Park to Memorial Park and back.
  • Meet at Kissing Point Park playground near the car park on Waterview Street, Putney at 10.00am. Walk starts at 10.15am sharp.
  • Wear sturdy shoes, a hat, and sunscreen, and bring water and snacks if needed. Group leader: Kim Godbout

KNEADING A BREAK? CLAY WORKSHOP

This 1 1/2 hour clay workshop will provide you with the opportunity to learn how to knead and prepare clay and express yourself through this 3D medium. No prior art experience necessary.

Creating a Connection

Why does my child do that? What does s/he want from me? If you want to find out then this group is for you. This parenting group explores your relationship with your child, building upon your strengths as a parent. This group provides a safe and supportive environment for parents to connect with each other and their children.

Group sessions will involve group discussions and viewing video footage of play sessions of you and your child.

Who:
Present clients of Ryde Family Support Service with a child aged between 1 to 5 years old. Your child MUST attend the group with you.

Commences 27th July for 4 Tuesdays

Paper Craft Group

Come along and join us for a fun morning and make some wonderful treasure boxes for you and your family. All materials and instructions provided.
